Set in the heart of Andalusia, in the Spanish countryside, Lumaé is a 6-day intimate retreat where the energy feels like home—warm, welcoming, and effortless. This is a place to simply be, surrounded by friends, sharing laughter and stories as you let go of the world outside.
Lumaé was born from a year of personal highs and lows, inspiring me to create a safe space where we can come together to celebrate the light and joy that still shines within us, even in challenging times. Lumaé, from the Latin word lumen, means light of life — an invitation to move freely, to feel deeply, and to step into a world where light guides the way and everything feels possible.
As summer begins and the days grow longer, the shift in season and energy encourages you to move beyond the familiar and welcome the boundless possibilities of new beginnings. But there’s no need to push or strive— just explore at your own pace. Whether it’s finding peace in nature or sharing joyful connections, each moment offers a chance to let go of the old and embrace a sense of renewal.
Join in when you feel inspired — whether it’s a hike, a flamenco workshop or our shared cooking class. We’ll also come together for daily yoga, meditation, and journaling, plus workshops and a sound bath for deeper relaxation.
No pressure, no expectations — just the space to do what feels right for you.
our home for the week
Tucked in the peaceful Spanish countryside, our villa is the perfect escape for our Summer retreat, allowing plenty of space to rest and reflect. Located just 1 km from the charming village of Los Romanes and only a 25-minute drive from the golden sands of Torre del Mar beach, the house overlooks the turquoise waters of Lake Viñuela, where you can paddle-board or enjoy SUP yoga.
No air or noise pollution for miles, the villa is a haven of calm with plenty of space to unwind. Relax by the pool with a good book, enjoy some peaceful alone time, go on nature walks or make new friends - the pace is yours to set. For those seeking exploration, an 8 km walk leads to the Buddhist temple, while Málaga’s vibrant culture, shops, and cuisine are just 45 minutes away by car. If you wish to venture further before or after the retreat, the villa is an ideal base for exploring Spain’s cultural gems— Córdoba, Granada, and Seville.
