Booking
To secure a spot on the yoga retreat, all guests must complete the registration form sent in the booking confirmation email + submit the required deposit/payment.
By booking a retreat with Jade Brévi Yoga, you are accepting these terms and conditions.
Deposit
All guests are required to pay a £400 deposit to secure their space on the retreat. This is non refundable and non transferable.
Your booking is not considered definite and no contract will exist until we receive a deposit of £400.
Payment
Balance payment is due no later than 8 weeks before the first day of the retreat; failure to pay by this date may result in the cancellation of your reservation and your place may be given to another guest.
Payment can be paid by bank transfer to the account specified in your original confirmation email sent out at the time of booking.
Payment plans are available. These are to be specified and agreed upon at the time of booking.
Last-minute bookings must be paid for “in full” at the time of booking.
If any last-minute discount places are offered, this does not affect the status of any guests who have previously paid the full price, and no discount will then become due to them.
Cancellation policy – if you cancel
We have designed our cancellation policy to be as compassionate as possible in the case that your plans change. But to protect yourself further, we strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance.
Cancellations made:
12 clear weeks or more before the start of the retreat: you will receive 100% refund minus the deposit
6 to 12 clear weeks before the start of the retreat: you will receive 50% refund minus the deposit
6 clear weeks or less before the start of the retreat: 0% refund will be given
If you wish to cancel your reservation, you must notify us in writing by email.
We do not accept any liability for cancellations, delays or changes caused by war, threat of war, terrorist actions or threats, closure of airports, civil strife, industrial action, natural disaster, technical problems to transport, staff cancellations, unforeseen changes in your personal circumstances or other events beyond our control. There will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, illness or unexpected weather conditions. Any extra payment charges for card payments are to be covered by the Client.
Cancellation policy – if we cancel
In case the retreat is cancelled from our end or the start date of the retreat is changed, for any reason whatsoever, you are entitled to transfer the sums paid to another retreat (either scheduled or at some future time within the next 2 years) to be used as credit. Alternatively, you may request a refund, which will be accommodated promptly, taking into consideration any non-retrievable costs to which we committed in anticipation of your retreat.
We will not be responsible for any extra costs that may be associated with preparing for your retreat, such as and not limited to, travel tickets, loss of work and other costs.
Travel
All travel arrangements are your responsibility and at your own cost. We will not be held liable for any consequences arising from delays or cancellations in any of the companies you may have made arrangements with, or for any irregularities in your documentation required for travel. Transfers to/from the retreat are at your own cost, unless otherwise specified.
Code of conduct
All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and considerate manner toward fellow participants, staff, and the local community.
Jade Brévi Yoga reserves the right to dismiss any participant for disruptive behavior, without refund.
Health
You acknowledge that participation in the yoga retreat involves physical activity and assume all risks associated with it. You are responsible for informing Jade of any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries and obtaining medical clearance if necessary.
Jade is not liable for any injury or health issues arising during the yoga retreat. You also understand your physical limitations and you are sufficiently self-aware to stop or modify your participation in any activity before you become injured.
It is your responsibility to advise us of any allergies and dietary restrictions before you book.
If you are currently pregnant, or under medical or psychiatric supervision, you must provide a doctor’s certificate confirming your fitness to travel and take part in the retreat as well as notifying Jade Brévi Yoga. We are not medically trained and do not know your full medical history so cannot offer any specific medical advice whilst at the retreat.
You agree to fill out and complete the healthcare form sent by Jade in your confirmation email no later than 4 weeks prior to the retreat.
General waiver
The Participant agrees to release and discharge Jade Brévi Yoga from any claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or relating to any injury or loss sustained during the yoga retreat. By registering for the yoga retreat, the Participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
1. I acknowledge that I have voluntarily applied to participate in Jade Brévi’s yoga classes, workshops, retreats and/or other wellness activities. In consideration of being allowed to take part in the retreat, I agree to this release of claims, waiver of liability and assumption of risks.
2. I understand that the Activities may require intense physical exertion, and I warrant that I am physically fit enough to participate. I agree that I am solely responsible for the decision to practice yoga and that I have no known medical condition which would prevent me from taking part in yoga classes or receiving yoga instructions.
3. I understand that yoga is not a substitute for medical treatment or attention and that I should consult with my physician prior to beginning any new activity program including yoga. I agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages which I might incur as a result of participating in the retreat.
4. I knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim I may have against Jade Brévi and any of her employees, independent contractors or assistants that I may sustain as a result of participating in the retreat.
5. I agree that Jade Brévi and the owners of the house are not responsible in the event of loss, damage, unauthorised use, theft, or injury resulting from and to any personal property that I bring onto the premises.
7. I hereby understand that Jade Brévi Yoga from time to time may photograph, video, or otherwise record activities and place such photographs and videos on Jade Brévi’s website or social media platform. I hereby consent to the use of my image that may appear in any such photograph or video.
No exceptions will be made to any of our policy.
Upon booking to any Jade Brévi’s activities, I indicate my acceptance of the waiver and agree to all the terms & conditions above;
